The reconfiguration and update of Wimbledon Bridge House, a landmark office building opposite Wimbledon Station, marked a significant milestone in the infrastructure enhancement project, with MAPUK playing a pivotal role.
Collaborating closely with specialist contractor LSC Building Services, we delivered a comprehensive array of air diffusers, delivering a comfortable internal environment for occupiers.
This extensive refurbishment transformed Wimbledon Bridge House into a Grade A standard space, complete with a new entrance and reception area, spanning 5600 square meters of category B fit-out.
At the heart of the redesign were our DLA7 high induction swirl diffusers, seamlessly integrated into the acoustic ceiling panels to ensure optimal airflow without compromising aesthetics. Despite the challenge posed by the unusual 750mm x 750mm tile size, our technical expertise allowed us to replicate this with precision, offering tailored solutions that matched the unique requirements of the project.
Our offering extended beyond diffusers to include a complete system comprising grilles, silencers, variable air volume dampers and reheaters. The flexibility of DLA diffusers, combined with their highly inductive fanned rotational flow, ensured efficient handling of high cooling loads while maintaining comfortable air conditions, even after installation.
In the main lobby reception areas, a striking hexagonal arrangement of high induction LDB diffusers served as both a design focal point and a functional solution, meeting the demands of corporate occupiers while enhancing interior aesthetics.
Designed for inconspicuous installation, our LDB linear air diffusers ensure draft-free airflow and low-noise distribution, thanks to aerodynamically designed slot nozzles. The result is a harmonious integration of ventilation solutions that optimise comfort and functionality throughout.
With this successful project completion, Wimbledon Bridge House now stands as a prime office location, boasting Grade A amenities seamlessly integrated with MAPUK's ventilation solutions, ensuring optimum comfort for staff and elevating the overall quality of the space.
