The BoTree

The BoTree Hotel marks the debut of Place III's new portfolio of boutique and lifestyle hotels, strategically located in sought-after areas of London. As a member of Preferred Hotels, BoTree embodies the essence of luxury and sophistication. Inspired by the Bodhi Tree, where Buddha attained enlightenment, the hotel draws its name from this symbol of nurturing. BoTree Hotel aims to emulate this nurturing ethos by providing a welcoming space that enriches the local community and offers a haven for all who step through its doors.

In line with its ethos of nurturing hospitality, BoTree Hotel sought to create an ambiance of comfort and refinement within its dining spaces, including an Italian restaurant and the BoTree bar.

The challenge was to seamlessly integrate ventilation solutions that not only maintained optimal thermal and acoustic comfort but also enhanced the hotel's sophisticated interior design, reflecting its boutique ethos.

MAPUK collaborated closely with the project team to craft bespoke ventilation solutions tailored to the unique ambiance and architectural nuances of the dining areas. With a focus on both functionality and aesthetics. Recognising the need for precise air distribution without compromising on elegance, the LDB12/8 high induction diffuser was chosen. This discreet yet efficient diffuser seamlessly blends into the hotel's interior, ensuring consistent thermal comfort throughout the restaurant and bar areas.

To further enhance the ambiance of the dining spaces, we designed bespoke curved ventilation grilles. These grilles were intricately crafted to complement the architectural features of the restaurant and bar, integrating effortlessly into the luxurious surroundings. In addition to standard curved grilles, MAPUK also produced concave and convex curved grilles, each with unique arc lengths and radii. 

By implementing bespoke ventilation solutions the BoTree successfully achieved its vision of providing a nurturing and welcoming space for its guests. The custom-designed products not only ensured optimal thermal and acoustic comfort but also enhanced the hotel's overall ambiance, reflecting its commitment to luxury hospitality and attention to detail.
