Woodstock Studios
Woodstock Studios, previously known as The Dairy, is a historic building dating back to the 1880s. Originally built for the dairy trade, it later served as a creative hub for the BBC. Today, it is a modern work/life space housing both residential apartments and a variety of offices. When it came to ensuring the comfort and functionality of this unique property, MAPUK was chosen for our expertise in delivering high-quality ventilation solutions that blend seamlessly into the architectural design.

The project required an efficient and aesthetically pleasing airflow solution for a newly renovated ground-floor office, lounge and bedroom. The goal was to create a comfortable environment that would cater to the needs of both residential and office occupants, maintaining a consistent temperature while minimising noise.
Collaborating with DACC Europe and M&E Ltd, our engineers designed and specified a ventilation system tailored to the building’s unique needs. We selected products to achieve the ideal balance of airflow and acoustic comfort, including LDB20/8 high induction linear diffusers with matching sub-frames, these diffusers were installed to distribute treated air precisely within the rooms. The high induction design ensures thermal and acoustic comfort, making them the perfect choice for both the lounge and bedroom areas.
Mini Swirl diffusers were integrated into the sidewall joinery of the office spaces. Selected for their ability to mix supply air completely before it enters the occupied zone, the diffusers ensure an even temperature gradient and low-velocity airflows, providing maximum comfort without drafts.
The end result was a success, the high induction linear diffusers and Mini Swirl diffusers create a stable temperature and noise-controlled environment, ideal for work and relaxation and the advanced product design delivers precise control of airflow, minimising energy consumption without sacrificing comfort. The products also blended effortlessly into the modern interior design, preserving the aesthetic appeal of the space.
