Collaborating closely with Hopkins Architects, MAPUK embarked on a prestigious project to enhance the air flow solutions at The Peninsula, London. Tasked with seamlessly integrating sophisticated HVAC systems into the hotel's refined interior design, MAPUK aimed to uphold the establishment's reputation for unparalleled luxury and comfort.
Preserving the architectural integrity of the building was key. The HVAC solutions needed to seamlessly blend with the hotel's sleek, spacious aesthetic without compromising performance.
MAPUK's expertise and innovative approach led to the installation of LDB20/8 high induction linear diffusers, strategically positioned within joinery slots. This allowed for efficient air distribution throughout a variety of locations within the hotel, while preserving a flawless finish. The diffusers were integrated into various amenities, including vanity units, grooming stations and towel pick-ups, in the spa and wellness centre. This delivered a harmonious blend of functionality and luxury.
In the bedroom suites, MAPUK opted for a Mini Swirl diffuser, chosen for its superior performance and discreet design. The Mini Swirl cleverly transforms any ventilation grille into an high induction device and delivers exceptional air quality without detracting from the overall aesthetic.
We also provided LDB diffusers and ornate ventilation grilles to the Canton Blue restaurant and adjacent bar Little Blue, blending into the décor curated by Henry Leung of CAP Atelier. The linear diffusers delivered just the right temperature and ambiance for guests to indulge in a luxury dining experience.
